Industry Immersion Africa (iiAfrica) and Mastercard Foundation (MCF) Ghana, with the support of the Ministry of Education Ghana through the National Service Scheme (NSS), are organising a two-day forum. This event will bring together international and local industry leaders in order to align Ghana's economy with the global digital landscape. Our goal in collaborating is to address the challenges and opportunities that come with rapidly advancing technology. We aim to create a skilled workforce that can keep up with these changes. Ghana's drive for digital inclusion — through government initiatives like the National Digital Property Addressing System, Medical Drone Delivery System and Mobile Money Interoperability System, amongst others — have accelerated the nation towards a more interconnected future.
Adinkra symbols, rich in cultural significance, embody the wisdom, values, and proverbs of the Ghanaian people. Originally hand-printed on fabric, these symbols have found a new home in Ghana's digital sphere.
To contribute our quota to advance the course, iiAfrica has developed an Adinkra-inspired QR Code Generator to back the mission of the forum. As Ghana's digital landscape progresses, integrating Adinkra symbols in this digital domain not only honours tradition, but also underscores the country's active embrace of technological growth.
